Why we created mySeat.
mySeat was developed out of a realisation that a web-based software solution could radically alter the way that restaurants use the Internet to manage bookings. As restaurant owners and operators ourselves we had used all the good old paper based restaurant diary. But that situation left us wanting more.
That's why we started with a clean sheet of paper and created mySeat.
mySeat is an Open Source restaurant management system released under the Creative Common License. You can use it for free. mySeat is optimized for fast and easy setup and works on any standard web server platform that supports PHP/MySQL and was tested successfully on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista, Mac OS X and LINUX. mySeat is perfect for restaurants, bars and hotels.
